WEDCO Targets New Business and Economic Development

The Woodbridge Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO) continues to actively recruit new corporations and businesses looking to make Woodbridge Township their corporate home. To demonstrate the serious commitment Woodbridge is making in future economic development, Mayor McCormac & WEDCO hosted the 3rd Annual Business Development Forum at the Renaissance Conference Center in June. More than 100 regional businesses and business owners, corporate officials, business development firms, real estate companies, investment agencies, and government officers interested in the Woodbridge business climate attended the 2010 conference.

State Grants Help Fund Safe Removal of Fuel Tanks

Edison Council President Charles Tomaro is kicking off his “Dig This Campaign” to persuade homeowners in Woodbridge and throughout Middlesex County to dig up and remove underground fuel tanks from their properties.

There is $70 million in state grants available to New Jersey homeowners to pay for the excavation and removal of these potentially hazardous underground storage tanks from residential properties, Tomaro explained.
