Recreation Department Director John Eberhardt received the prestigious 2009 “Dare To Imagine Award,” presented by VSA Arts of New Jersey.
The group is dedicated to promoting the active involvement of children and adults with disabilities in the arts and sports.
Director Eberhardt helped found the Woodbridge Township Buddy Ball sports program in 1996. He has also been instrumental in supporting the United Spinal Rangers ice hockey team and the Woodbridge Wolfpack Special hockey team.
The award was presented at the annual VSA Arts of New Jersey awards ceremony on May 16 at the Linwood School in North Brunswick. Congratulations John Eberhardt; keep up the great work!
