The Woodbridge Police Department will honor the sacrifice of Township police officers killed-in-the-line-of-duty at memorial dedication services for P.O. Alvin P. Williams and P.O. Joseph Lewis on Wed., Aug. 3. The Woodbridge Police Department and the N.J. State PBA will unveil monuments memorializing the “End of Watch” at the site(s) where P.O. Williams and P.O. Lewis were killed-in-the-line-of-duty.

Woodbridge Township has lost two officers killed in the line-of-duty – P.O. Alvin Williams, killed in the line-of-duty on Sept. 6, 1979 and P.O. Joseph Lewis, killed in the line-of-duty on Sept. 18, 1932.
