Public Meeting Held For New Automatated Trash Collection

Mayor John E. McCormac and the Woodbridge Department of Public Works will host an informational meeting on Thurs., Feb. 18, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Fords Middle School to outline the new Automated Trash Collection & Recycling Program set to begin on March 15 for residents of Iselin, Colonia, Avenel, Hopelawn, Fords, and Keasbey.

The Automated Trash Collection & Recycling Program has proven to be cost-effective and provides residents with a clean, convenient and attractive system for disposal of household waste and recyclable materials.

The meeting will be held in the Fords Middle School Cafeteria, 100 Fanning Street, Fords.
