Cost for the meeting is $35 for members; $45 for non-members. Checks made payable to EDANJ may be mailed to PO Box 97, Livingston NJ 07039. On line registration using a credit card is available at www.edanj.com. Registration is requested by Wednesday, March 3rd.
The organization started in 1953 as the New Jersey Industrial Development Association. Over the years, economic development has evolved into a profession and the Association has grown with it.
Today the Association has embraced the challenges of our technology-based global economy and the membership now focuses its energy on enhancing and promoting the best use of the state’s resources in meeting today’s business demands. Advocacy and action are augmented by solid relationships with other business organizations, such as the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, CoreNet Global New Jersey and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks.
EDANJ members, drawn from the private and public sectors, enhance their abilities as the best in their fields through participation in Association meetings and informational seminars. Meetings are held four times a year on timely, topical subjects presented by expert professionals.
An outstanding individual in the Economic Development field is recognized annually with the EDANJ Economic Development Award in memory of Bob Franklin and John Maddocks, Sr. – past presidents of EDANJ and pioneers in the Economic Development arena.
Networking among attendees at EDANJ meetings is often as important as the program itself. Newcomers to the field as well as to the state have an opportunity to make the acquaintance of fellow professionals and forge powerful relationships.
Dues and meeting fees are very reasonable. Most events are held at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Twp, NJ which is easily accessible from the NJ Turnpike. A schedule of meetings and membership information can be found on the website.
